Most of the dust and dirt brought into the home can settle onto your furniture. Having your furniture professionally cleaned on a regular basis will help prolong the life of your upholstery by removing tiny soil particles. These soil particles could permanently change the appearance of your furniture.
Having dirt, dust mites, and other pollutants professionally removed by steam cleaning could also minimize allergies in the home by improving the indoor air quality ( IAQ ). Manufacturers recommend having your furniture professionally cleaned every 12-24 months, depending on how often you use it. Before we clean your furniture, we’ll recommend the safest method. This is usually determined by the manufacturer’s tag on the deck of your furniture.
We use the industries most powerful truck mounted cleaning unit when ever possible. It provides the deepest type of cleaning out of all the other methods. However, some fabrics require dry cleaning only. Fulton Steamer is capable of cleaning even the most delicate of fabrics. In this case we will use the dry cleaning method. Dry soil and body oils will have a direct impact on the protective coating that the manufacturer may have applied to your furniture. To protect your investment from the negative effects of dry soil and body oils, we can reapply 3M Scotchgard Fabric Protector following the cleaning.
3M Scotchgard Fabric Protector creates an invisible barrier that will improve the fabric’s resistance to dry soil and everyday living. The protector also ensures that the next time you have your furniture professionally cleaned, the dry soil and stains will lift right out. If odors are an issue, we can also spray your furniture with Lysol Brand Sanitizer prior to the cleaning. This will help to eliminate germs and bacteria that cause odors. Once the Lysol Brand Sanitizer is applied, we then inject hot water and a mild detergent and extract the Sanitizer and dirty water out. This will leave your furniture germ less and odor free.
